Nina Morato – France 1994 - "Je suis un vrai garçon"
Her real name is Stéphanie Morato and not only did she represent France in ESC 1994, but she is also an actress. That same year she appeared in the film “La separation” sharing credits with Oscar nominee Isabelle Huppert.
Her 2nd album titled “L'allumeuse” was released in 1996, with most of the tracks written by her it was received with a very poor response from the people.
After the lack of success of her 2nd album she vanishes from the public eye for a bit until the release of her 3rd (and last) album “Moderato” which was influenced by the tragic death of her 11-year-old daughter Julia. Who tragically drowns in the family bathtub while in custody with her father (French singer David Christie).
She continued her acting career from 2004 till recent days, appearing in films like “Ma vie en l'air” alongside Oscar winner actress Marion Cotillard.
