Voyager represented Australia in 2023 with their song “Promise,” and everything was alright for them as they placed 9th in the contest. Being huge fans of Eurovision, they had attempted to represent their country twice before—in 2020, with their song “Runaway,” and in 2022, with “Dreamer.”
Voyager first formed in 1999, though the current configuration of members came to be in 2011, with lead singer Danny Estrin being the only member present since the band’s inception. “Colours” is from their 2019 album “Colours in the Sun,” an album that leans slightly more into their prog-rock sound rather than prog-metal.
