2025 GOOD LUCK MESSAGES

Each year, OGAE Rest of the World members record some creative good luck messages for each of the acts participating in Eurovision. Previous years’ videos can be found here.

Expressions of Interest (EOIs) are now closed. Check your email for your allocated country.

Good Luck messages are a #2026ESCPoints opportunity and each video is worth 10 points.

videos must be submitted by 12 noon CET, Sunday 30 march 2025

MORE ABOUT THE VIDEO REQUIREMENTS

  • Make a video of yourself / get creative with a slide show / let your imagination run wild, to wish your artist good luck or best wishes for their performance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Basel 2025.

  • The person who expressed the interest in making the video must be in the video themselves.

  • Do not infringe on copyright when using video/pictures/songs. Playing a soundtrack during your video may impact different copyright requirements throughout the world. Generally, a small section of a song (or use of a very generic song) should be ok.

  • Your video message will be posted to the artists, composers, and song writer(s). They will be uploaded to the OGAE Rest of the World YouTube channel, then tweeted/linked on Instagram to the artist. The message will also appear on our externally-facing Facebook page. So they are visible to the world!

  • All videos must be in accordance with the OGAE Rest of the World Code of Conduct. These are Good Luck messages ONLY, any other intention conveyed in the video will not be accepted. Videos deemed non-compliant with the code of conduct will not receive points.

CONTENT | make sure you include:

  • Address who you are wishing luck or best wishes (The Artist or Band)

  • Introduce yourself and where you are from (City and Country)

  • IMPORTANT “From all of us at the Eurovision Fan Club OGAE (said “O” “G” “A” “E”) Rest of the World”

  • Wish them luck or best wishes for the song contest.

  • You might want to use a play on words referencing their song in your speech (but this is up to you)

For example (only a guideline - for a fictional country)

Hello Percival, my name is Voldemars and I live in Doha, Qatar.  From all of us at the Eurovision Fan club O.G.A.E. (Spelled out letter by letter, not a single word such as “oh-gaye”) Rest of the World, we hope you have an amazing time and great success in Beijing. Take the Eurovision Trophy Home to Sokovia for the first time!!!
